What we collect, why we collect it, which cookies we use, and the rights you have over your data.

This notice applies to bansoftsolutions.com, operated by Bansoft Solutions. It explains what personal data we handle and fulfils our disclosure obligation under Article 10 of Turkish Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data ("KVKK").

1. Who is responsible for your data

Bansoft Solutions acts as the data controller for the processing described below.

2. What data we collect

You do not need to share any personal data to browse this site. We collect data in two situations only:

a) When you submit the contact form

  • Identity data: your name
  • Contact data: your email address
  • Transaction data: the subject and body of your message, including anything else you choose to write in it

If you email or call us directly instead, the information you share through those channels is handled the same way.

b) When you visit the site

  • Security data: access logs kept by our hosting provider (IP address, timestamp, requested page, browser information)
  • Analytics data: statistical information such as the pages you view and how long you stay — collected only if you accept analytics cookies in the consent banner

We do not collect special categories of data (health, religion, biometrics and similar). No payments are taken on this site, so we never ask for card or bank details. Please do not enter such information into the contact form.

3. Why we process it, and on what legal basis

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data or pass it to third parties for marketing. We rely on the following service providers to run the site:

  • Our hosting provider (Hostinger): stores the site files and keeps server access logs.
  • FormSubmit: messages sent through the contact form pass through this service on their way to our inbox, so anything you write in the form is also processed by that provider.
  • Google (Analytics, Fonts and Maps): visitor statistics are measured only with your consent. In addition, our fonts and the embedded map on the contact page load from Google servers, which means your IP address is disclosed to Google when that content loads.
  • Cloudflare (cdnjs): serves the icon library used across the site.
  • Public authorities: only where required by law and only to the extent requested.

Some of these providers host their servers outside Türkiye, so your data may be transferred abroad within the meaning of Article 9 of the KVKK.

5. How long we keep it

  • Contact form messages: up to 2 years after the correspondence ends. If the enquiry becomes a business relationship, statutory retention periods apply instead.
  • Server access logs: for our hosting provider's standard retention period (typically a few months).
  • Analytics data: for Google Analytics' default retention period (up to 14 months).

Once the period expires — or once you ask us to — the data is deleted, destroyed or anonymised.

6. Security

The entire site is served over HTTPS, so traffic between your browser and our server is encrypted. Form messages are accessible only to authorised members of our team. That said, no transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so we recommend not sending sensitive information through the form.

7. Cookies and similar technologies

A cookie is a small text file that a site stores on your device. These are the ones this site uses:

Essential cookies are required for the site to work and do not need consent. Analytics cookies load only if you choose "Accept" in the cookie banner. You can change your mind at any time:

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the site from working as expected.

8. Your rights

Under Article 11 of the KVKK you may contact us to:

  • Find out whether we process your personal data and request information about it,
  • Learn the purpose of the processing and whether the data is used accordingly,
  • Know the third parties, in Türkiye or abroad, to whom the data is transferred,
  • Request that incomplete or inaccurate data be corrected,
  • Request erasure or destruction of your data within the conditions set out in the law,
  • Require that any correction or erasure be notified to the third parties the data was transferred to,
  • Object to a result reached solely through automated analysis of your data that works against you,
  • Claim compensation if you suffer damage from unlawful processing.

9. How to make a request

Email info@bansoftsolutions.com or write to the postal address above. Please include enough information for us to identify you and state your request clearly. We respond free of charge within 30 days at the latest; where the request incurs a separate cost, the fee set by the Turkish Personal Data Protection Board may apply.

10. Links to other sites

The site links to external destinations such as Instagram and LinkedIn. Once you follow such a link, that site's own privacy policy applies — we are not responsible for their content or data practices.

11. Changes to this notice

We may update this notice as the law or our services change. The current version is always published on this page, with the date at the top updated accordingly.
